Fun Shore Diving: Conestoga, Rothesay and Old Docks
Around Montreal and in Eastern Canada, we have a wide variety of scuba diving sites.
A dive outing that is quite simple to do while still being fun is to visit the wrecks accessible from shore along the St. Lawrence in Ontario, not far from Montreal, in the Prescott area.
If you are a newly certified scuba diver with your PADI Open Water Diver card, that dive day is a great occasion to acquire more diver experience under the supervision of a Total Diving divemaster.
For already experienced scuba divers, it’s a fun day of relaxing while breathing under water!
We normally do between 2 and 3 shore dives on the following dive sites:
- Conestoga Wreck (more info, in French, on Scubapedia)
- Rothesay Wreck (more info, in French, on Scubapedia)
- The Old Docks in Prescott (more info, in French, on Scubapedia)
Cost is $20, including taxes, to encourage the divemaster, including oxygen kit, first aid kit, refreshments, and a portable BBQ (you can bring stuff to throw on the grill).
Forthcoming dates in 2011:
- Saturday, August 6
- Saturday, September 3
- Saturday, October 8
- Saturday, October 29
Note: We always offer, at the same time and the same place, the special exclusive National Geographic scuba diver & explorer course. Ask about it!
